Dr. Iordanis Papadopoulos

Iordanis Papadopoulos holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Philosophy, Psychology & Pedagogy from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a B.A. Certificate in Humanities from the American College of Higher Studies in Thessaloniki. He received his Ph.D. in Contemporary Moral & Political Philosophy from the University of Kent at Canterbury, U.K. He also holds an M.A. Diploma in Distance Learning from the Hellenic Open University. During 1984 - 1988 and 1990 – 1993, he received scholarships for his undergraduate and graduate studies from The State Scholarships Foundation of the Hellenic Republic. Iordanis has been working at HAEF since 1997, teaching Ancient and Modern Greek Literature & Social Sciences.

During 2004 - 2008, he was Vice-Principal of the Psychico College Junior High School. Since the spring of 2009, he has also been teaching at the Adult Education Program of HAEF. Iordanis has also served as adjunct faculty in the Athens University of Economics and Business, the Hellenic Open University, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Technological Institute of Piraeus and the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. He was a member of the Editorial Board of the Greek scientific journal “Science and Society,” as well as a board member of the Greek Chapter of the European Business Ethics Network. Iordanis’ main research interests are in contemporary philosophy, business ethics, social theory and philosophy of education.
