Dimitris Papagiannakis

Dimitris studied the Violin at the Hellenic Conservatory and graduated in 1998 with Distinction and 2nd prize. At the same time, he studied Music Theory and Counterpoint. In 2001 he moved to London where he studied Violin Performance and Chamber Music with the well-known soloists and teachers Mayumi Fujikawa and Richard Markson at the Trinity College of Music, London. From 2003 to 2010 he was a member of the Athens State Orchestra and from 2010  to 2013 a member of the National Radio Orchestra. In 2011 he got his diploma in Fugue with Distinction. Since 2003 he is teaching the Violin at the HAEF Conservatory and since 2014 he is teaching Music at HAEF’s IB.
