Alumni Fund Drive

The Alumni Fund Drive Committee (AFD) for the Scholarship Fund was founded in 1967 and is comprised of Class Agents from every class that has graduated.  Its goal is to encourage alumni to support the College Scholarship Fund either by individual direct gift giving or in response to a class reunion.  Emphasis is placed on the breadth of participation rather than on the gift amount.

During the annual event honoring HAEF donors and volunteers, graduating classes which achieve the highest participation rate in the Fund Drive are awarded trophies that are passed along from year to year.  In the event that a class is awarded first place in its category for three consecutive years, it keeps the “Winner’s Cup” forever!  To date, the classes that have achieved that feat are the Class of 1959 (twice), the Class of 1964, the Class of 1976 and the Class of 2011.
