Parents General Meetings

In addition to regular meetings at the end of the 1st and 2nd terms, the College has established two info sessions for the parents of all students at the start of the academic year:

  • an Info Session for parents of 11th and 12th grade students that is usually held at the end of September, and
  • an Info Session for parents of 10th grade students that is usually held in the beginning of October.

During these meetings, the Administration speaks to parents about pedagogical matters and familiarizes them on other aspects of College life, activities and institutions. 

When needed, the Administration may schedule additional meetings throughout the course of the academic year in order to inform parents about specific issues.

 

Parents Meetings regarding their children’s progress

 

The College believes in maintaining close collaboration with parents.  To facilitate this collaboration, it provides:

  1. Regular meetings between parents and the Faculty three times a year:
    • at the end of November
    • at the end of the 1st terms, at which time student progress reports are distributed, and
    • at the end of the 2nd term.
  2. Weekly “Parent-Teacher Conferences.”Every teacher allocates one hour per week for face-to-face parent-teacher meetings and one hour per week for parent-teacher tele-conferencing.A list of the teachers and their respective meeting and tele-conferencing schedules is posted on the High School’s webpages and is also sent to parents via email.

In case of an emergency, the Administration contacts parents.  Alternatively, parents may call the Administration Office to schedule an extraordinary meeting.

 

Weekly Parent-Teacher Conference Schedule

 

Weekly Parent-Teacher conferences are held on scheduled days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and are booked online using the SoSimple app.
