Antoniou.  The students presented a video which showcased their activities during the last academic year during which they created their own “green corner” within the School’s garden.  The video presentation was well-received, garnering very positive reviews.

The “Green Corners” program is aimed at young people (aged 6 to 16) who want to protect the green refuges in the neighborhoods and schoolsThe goal of the program is to promote the study of the flora and fauna of a neighborhood, and to discover the relationship between these factors and their general role in the eco-system.  Using available educational materials, and employing the suggested activities of the program, the Environmental Groups/Clubs of students inquire and learn about their “green” neighborhoods and the ways to protect them.
