Psychoeducational Team

Pre-school years are a critical period during which the foundations for all areas of human development (cognitive, verbal, kinetic and emotional) are established.
The objective of the Kindergarten’s Psychoeducational Team is to detect language, motor, and emotional difficulties in students in order to allow for early assessment and prevention-treatment of potential developmental disorders.  Detection is carried out within the school grounds by observing students during group activities, both inside and outside the classroom, in tandem with individual considerations.
The Psychoeducational Team is comprised of a child psychologist, an occupational therapist, and a speech therapist.
At the intervention level, close collaboration between members of the psychoeducational team and teachers is with the intent to develop a personalized educational program, adapted to the needs of each student.  To this end, when necessary, consultative meetings with parents will be scheduled.
