Curriculum

The curriculum of Psychico College Elementary School has been designed to foster students’ intellectual development and to build character.  These objectives are pursued through the variety of courses and other educational activities provided at the full-day School, through the teaching and learning approaches employed, as well as through the overall environment, interpersonal relationships and educational practices of the School.

Courses Taught

Psychico College Elementary School’s curriculum includes the subjects required by the National curriculum (Religion, Greek, Mathematics, English, History, Environmental Studies, Physics, Geography, Civics, Music, Fine Arts and Physical Education).  Some of these subjects are supplemented by additional class hours and are taught utilizing modern pedagogical methodologies.  Others are taught in special facilities (laboratories).  In addition to the textbooks stipulated by the Greek Ministry for all elementary schools, the College provides its own supplementary teaching materials.  The School's curriculum also includes English, French or German, Computer Science and Library time.
