Creative Activities – Visual Arts

The objective of the Creative Activities course is for students to expand their thinking and imagination and to find ways of self-expression.  The course is primarily experiential in nature.  Our workshop is fully equipped, providing children with the materials and technical resources they need in order to create.

Working individually or in groups, students develop their aesthetic skills and art vocabulary.  Sometimes, project themes are interdisciplinary in nature and, therefore, realized in collaboration with other Faculty members.

Using different themes as points of departure, students are introduced to various periods in art history, wherein they investigate form and meaning in art.  Art, an integral part of our lives, surrounds us every day, in all of our School’s activities (theatrical performances, celebrations, exhibitions, educational field trips, competitions, and publications).
