Day Trip to Adventure Park

With Special Programs’ “Young Explorers,” Elementary School students have an opportunity to acquaint themselves with nature whilst enjoying themselves.

The first excursion this academic year will be to Adventure Park in Malakasa 
(
www.adventure-park.gr) on Friday, November 24, 2017.

 

The Adventure Park experience embraces nature and environmental education through “fly away” activities (zip lines:  mini first level ‘squirrels’; easy level ‘foxes’) that “fly” children from tree to tree, with routes provided for different (increasing) difficulty/skill levels and in accordance with varying children’s heights.


Children should be dressed in weather-appropriate sports clothes and carry along (in a backpack with wide straps) an extra pair of socks, pants, top, underclothing, waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, water and food.

Conditions for Participation:

  1. The cost of the excursion is €60.00 and includes transport, insurance and the organization of activities by experienced Physical Education teachers or other teachers from our School.  Parents are responsible for the provision of food.
  2. Registration Forms must be submitted by Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the latest to the Special Programs Secretariat (Capps Hall, 1st floor, tel: 210.6726452). Forms can either be brought in person, or sent by fax (210.6744970) or email (specialprograms@haef.gr). Priority is on a first come, first served basis.  The Accounting Office electronic payment of the participation fee (€ 60.00) that will include an individual payment ID.   This will allow you to pay via e-banking before the excursion takes place.  Please note that the submittal of a Registration Form is binding, requiring the student’s participation and payment of stipulated fees.  Cancellations after 12:00 pm. on Thursday, 11/23/17 may incur partial or full fees depending on the ability to cancel reservations and other charges.
  3. In the event of insufficient enrollment, the excursion is postponed and interested parties will be notified on the Thursday immediately preceding the excursion date.
  4. Teacher-chaperones reserve the right to change the destination in the event of inclement weather or other emergency.
  5. Cancellations are accepted up until 12:00 noon on Thursday, November 23, 2017.  Otherwise, it is assumed that children who have signed up will attend.
