Registration - Fees

 

SPECIAL PROGRAMS classes take place after the normal school day ends and include courses in:
French, German, Chinese, Sports – Dance, and the Athens College – Psychico College Conservatory. 

Start – End of Classes
French, German and Chinese lessons begin one week after regular classes begin for the HAEF Schools.   Sports and music activities begin two weeks after classes begin.  
Activities for Elementary School 1st and 2nd grade students begin from the first day of regular classes.

For beginners, musical instrument lessons in groups of 2 or 3 students are offered at a special rate.

(*) The tuition discount applies when the student attends the same sports activity/program throughout the week.

(**) In order to support the School’s effort to create a symphony orchestra, HAEF offers a discount to College students who attend the Conservatory and take up an orchestral instrument.  The discount applies to all students up to the Lower Diploma and continues beyond the Lower Diploma for those students who participate regularly in the Athens College – Psychico College “College Symphony Orchestra.”  In all other instances, the fee must be paid in its entirety. 

Tuition Fee Payment

Registration (following acceptance of the registration form on behalf of HAEF) is completed upon payment of the specified fees as outlined below.  You will receive an invoice from the School’s Accounting Office that will include an individual payment ID thereby allowing you to pay via Web Banking or in person at one of the partner banks (National, Alpha, EUROBANK, and Piraeus).

 

  • Tuition fees for Foreign Language Center courses (French – German – Chinese) up to 500€ are paid in full within the first ten days of October 2018 upon receipt of the invoice with your individual payment ID.

    Tuition fees Foreign Language Center courses over 500€ are paid in two (2) equal installments (1/2 of the total amount due during the first ten days of October 2018 upon receipt of your individual payment ID, and the balance the following January).

     

  • Tuition fees for Sports up to 750€ are paid in full within the first ten days of November 2018 upon receipt of the invoice with your individual payment ID. Tuition fees for Sports over 750€ are paid in two (2) equal installments (1/2 of the total amount due during the first ten days of November 2018 upon receipt of your individual payment ID, and the balance the following January).

     

  • Tuition fees for Music Conservatory courses up to 750€ are paid in full within the first ten days of November 2018 upon receipt of the invoice with your individual payment ID. Tuition fees for Music Conservatory courses over 750€ are paid in two (2) equal installments (1/2 of the total amount due during the first ten days of November 2018 upon receipt of your individual payment ID, and the balance the following January).

 

 

Late Registration – Course Change

Students who have not registered within the prescribed time period may request to register after classes have begun; however, registration is subject to space availability and the terms and conditions that will be specified by the Secretariat. The same applies for students who wish to change courses.

 

School Bus Transportation

For the convenience of students enrolled in Special Programs course, late afternoon school bus service is available that runs along designated routes, with specific bus stops, as designated by the Transportation Office.  Final bus routes/schedules are established once registration is over, at which time bus fees are determined.  Applications to sign up for school bus service are submitted by parents directly to HAEF’s Transportation Office.  Kindly note that applications for school bus service outside the designated bus routes will not be accepted by the Transportation Office.  Due to limited spaces, applications for school bus service are strictly accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

 

Course Withdrawal

 

FRENCH-GERMAN-CHINESE

If a student withdraws from a course by Wednesday, October 31, 2018 a written request for withdrawal is submitted and 150€ of the fees paid upon registration non-refundable.  In the event that a student withdraws from Thursday, November 1, 2018 onwards, full tuition fees are due.

ATTENTION: If a withdrawal request in not submitted in writing by Wednesday, October 31, 2018, the full annual course fee is due

 

SPORTS
If, for whatever reason, a student withdraws from a course within the first two weeks of the program, or in the event of a delayed enrollment within the first two weeks of registration, a written request for withdrawal is submitted and 25% of the annual course fee must be paid.  If a student withdraws from a course after the second week, the annual course fee must be paid in full.
ATTENTION: If a withdrawal request in not submitted in writing before the 2nd week, then the full annual course fee is due.

 

MUSIC

If, for whatever reason, a student withdraws from a course by Monday, November 12, 2018, a written request for withdrawal is submitted and 15% of the annual tuition fees must be paid. 
In the event that a student withdraws after Monday, November 12, 2018 and up to Thursday, January 31, 2019, a written request for withdrawal is submitted and 50% of the annual tuition fees must be paid.

In the event that a student withdraws after Thursday, January 31, 2019, a written request for withdrawal is submitted and the full annual course fee is due.

 

Rules and Regulations
HAEF Schools Rules and Regulations are in effect during the operation of Special Programs.  Upon submission of the Registration Form, parents are informed of the specific Special Programs Regulations, whose acceptance is a prerequisite for the student’s enrollment in the special program of his/her choice.
