Registration - Fees

 

SPECIAL PROGRAMS classes take place after the normal school day ends and include courses in:
French, German, Chinese, Sports – Dance, and the Athens College – Psychico College Conservatory. 

Start – End of Classes
French, German and Chinese lessons begin one week after regular classes begin for the HAEF Schools.   Sports and music activities begin two weeks after classes begin.  
Activities for Elementary School 1st and 2nd grade students begin from the first day of regular classes.

(*) The tuition discount applies when the student attends the same sports activity/program throughout the week.

 (**) In order to support the School’s effort to create a symphony orchestra, HAEF offers a discount to College students who attend the Conservatory and take up an orchestral instrument.  The discount applies to all students up to the Lower Diploma and continues beyond the Lower Diploma for those students who participate regularly in the Athens College – Psychico College “College Symphony Orchestra.”  In all other instances, the fee must be paid in its entirety. 

Tuition Fee Payment

Registration (following acceptance of the registration form on behalf of HAEF) is completed upon payment of the specified fees as outlined below.  Within the first ten days of September you will receive an invoice from the School’s Accounting Office that will include an individual payment ID thereby allowing you to pay via Web Banking or in person at one of the partner banks: National, Alpha, EUROBANK, Piraeus.

 

Tuition fees for French – German – Chinese courses are paid in installments together with the Basic School Tuition fees, minus the deposit equivalent to one third (1/3) of the annual fees which must be paid within the first ten days of September upon receipt of the individual payment ID, thereby completing registration and ensuring the student’s place in the course.

 

Tuition fees for Sports or Music up to 750€ are paid in full within the first ten days of September upon receipt of the invoice with your individual payment ID.

 

Tuition fees for Sports or Music over 750€ are paid in two (2) equal installments (1/2 of the total amount due during the first ten days of September upon receipt of your individual payment ID, and the balance the following January).

 

Late Registration – Course Change

Students who have not registered within the prescribed time period may request to register after classes have begun; however, registration is subject to space availability and the terms and conditions that will be specified by the Secretariat. The same applies for students who wish to change courses.

 

School Bus Transportation

For the convenience of students enrolled in Special Programs course, late afternoon bus service is available.  Final bus routes/schedules are established once registration is over, at which time bus fees are announced.

 

Course Withdrawal

FRENCH-GERMAN-CHINESE

If a student withdraws from a course by Tuesday, October 31, 2017, a written request for withdrawal is submitted and the one third (1/3) deposit of the annual fees paid at the time of registration for French – German – Chinese lessons is non-refundable.  In the event that a student withdraws from Wednesday, November 1, 2017 onwards, full tuition fees are due.

ATTENTION: If a withdrawal request in not submitted in writing by Tuesday, October 31, 2017, the full annual course fee is due.

 

SPORTS

If, for whatever reason, a student withdraws from a course within the first two weeks of the program, or in the event of a delayed enrollment within the first two weeks of registration, a written request for withdrawal is submitted and 25% of the annual course fee must be paid.  If a student withdraws from a course after the second week, the annual course fee must be paid in full.
ATTENTION: If a withdrawal request in not submitted in writing before the 2nd week, then the full annual course fee is due.

 

MUSIC

If, for whatever reason, a student withdraws from a course by Monday, November 13, 2017, a written request for withdrawal is submitted and 15% of the annual course fee must be paid.  
If a student withdraws after Monday, November 13, 2017and up through Wednesday, January 31, 2018, a written request for withdrawal is submitted and 50% of the annual course fee must be paid.  
If a student withdraws after Wednesday, January 31, 2018, a written request is submitted and the full annual course fee must be paid.

Rules and Regulations
HAEF Schools Rules and Regulations are in effect during the operation of Special Programs.  Upon submission of the Registration Form, parents are informed of the specific Special Programs Regulations, whose acceptance is a prerequisite for the student’s enrollment in the special program of his/her choice.
