Assessment for Program Placement

The placement of students in the above programs is an on-going and often lengthy process conducted by the English Department of each school unit and takes place in 

·         Grade 1

·         Throughout the Demotico/Elementary School years

·         Gymnasium/Middle School – at the end of each academic year

·         Lykeio/High School – at the end of each academic year

In all cases, changes in placement are made only after teachers have discussed assessment evidence.
