Entries are divided into three databases:
- People - includes basic data on over 6817 people (2673 wit full profile), mainly writers, but also philosophers, scientists, artists etc.
- Works - includes over 30322 works (2830 completed), mainly literary, but also philosophical and scientific, which are indexed by date, genre and country.
- Topics & Events - lists 14849 historical and literary events, for which it provides 8604 short notes and 611 major essays on literary, critical, philosophical and historical concepts.

TLG includes digitized most texts written in Greek from Homer (8th c. B.C.) to the fall of Byzantium in AD 1453 and beyond. It contains more than 10,000 works associated with 4,000 authors and is constantly updated and improved with new features and texts. TLG is a research center at the Unoversity of California, Irvine. |
