Holidays
National, religious and school events are organized by groups of students under the supervision of Faculty members. Festivities and other events are organized by the Student Community or class sections so that all students participate and become aware of the meaning of each holiday. Church service attendance, group prayer and flag raising ceremonies aim at students’ experiencing religious and national values..

Cultural Events
A one-hour session devoted to cultural events is included in the weekly school program for all grades. During this session, teachers, parents, friends of the School or groups of students present topics of general cultural interest about religion, health, environment, from ancient to modern Greek and international civilization, art, music.
Field Trips and Visits
Field trips and visits included in the school curriculum aim at broadening the educational horizons of students and bringing them into contact with social and cultural life off-campus. Excursions and field trips to museums, archeological sites and monuments, art exhibitions, public and private workplaces are organized throughout the school year. Students also attend selected theatre or music performances. In each case, a preliminary discussion is held at school, as well as a follow-up review or group discussion.
Full-Day excursion
Towards the end of the school year, a one-day excursion is scheduled for all grades. The excursion serves educational, cultural and entertaining purposes.
Athletic Events
Teachers of the Physical Education Department select students who achieve superior athletic performance in order to form the representative school teams. These teams train every week, participate in several athletic meetings (on- or off-campus, interschool games). Participation in these teams promotes physical exercise and builds team spirit. |
