Deputy Director : Anastasia Papakostopoulou
Deputy Director :  Evangelos Pagkratis

Acting I.B. Coordinator : Sophia Arditzoglou

Faculty

The Faculty is a collective body of the School and is comprised of all teachers regardless of their employment contract.  The President of the Faculty is the School Director or his legal substitute.
The Faculty

-
decides upon the promotion, expulsion, need for reassessment or rejection of students at the end of the academic year, based on relevant documentation and grades recorded in the official school books and in accordance with the prevailing provisions of the law;
-
imposes disciplinary measures upon students in accordance with prevailing provisions of the law and at the end of the academic year decides upon the characterization of the student disciplinary and attendance records, substantiating such decisions on specific and verifiable data;
-
agrees upon class trips, excursions, educational visits and student activities (either collectively or vis-à-vis an officially and mutually agreed upon committee from within the Faculty).

Teacher/Advisor

For each High School and IB section, a Teacher/Advisor is appointed whose role is to deal with the problems (academic, pedagogical, disciplinary) of the students in his/her section.
More specifically, the Teacher/Advisor is responsible for:

-
Monitoring the academic, pedagogical and disciplinary progress of the students in his/her section (both collectively and individually).
-
Keeping the Administration abreast of the academic, disciplinary and personal problems of his/her students.  In addition to the Administration, he/she also seeks to maintain personal contact with the student and the student’s parents.
-
Keeping students informed of the School’s policies, the School’s particularities, the various services available (i.e. Counseling, University Applications), the students’ obligations and responsibilities, as well as the students’ rights.
-
Establishing a climate of collaboration, tolerance, and open communication amongst the students and cultivating a positive environment leading students to participate in Clubs.  Together with the students he/she seeks out activities that broaden student education and encourages them to actively participate in civic and social events.  Towards that end, he/she collaborates with the 5-member Class Council.
-
Advising students individually on their academic progress, disciplinary problems, attendance record and personal issues.
-
Encouraging bright and gifted students to broaden their knowledge and interests and to participate in national or international competitions.
-
Interfacing with other educators who teach his/her students on all issues that affect them.
-
Mentoring his/her students during Social Life meetings.  It is during these sessions that students raise issues, predominantly by way of the Class President, and during which time the Teacher-Advisor raises class problems (i.e. Student Absences, Discipline).  These sessions also serve as a good preventive measure for potential disciplinary and other problems.
-
Teaching Career Counseling (Σ.Ε.Π.) to First Year High School students (lessons conducted during Theater and Social Life periods) and suggesting/arranging meetings with external speakers. Teacher/Advisors of Second and Third Year High School students are responsible for planning and organizing the agenda for the Theater and Social Life periods (Flexible Zone).
