Career Advising
Students
from both the
General High
School and the International Baccalaureate Programme
can avail themselves of the services of
Psychico
College’s Career Advising
Office. This service can
benefit students with issues concerning their academic and
professional inclinations, extra-curricular activities,
and vocational environments.
Qualified counselors and psychologists work together with the
students’ parents, the Administration and the Faculty, as well as
with other professional organizations, academicians, and College
graduates currently attending university in order to facilitate
direct communication between students and people/entities from
the professional and academic world.
Specifically, the Career Advising Office organizes and oversees:
a) an Assessment (Testing) Program for 15-16 year-olds to
identify their skills and interests, b) a Summer Internship Program,
lasting from 3 to 6 weeks for 15-18 year-olds, and c) Career Day for
First and Second Year High School students during which time
professionals, businessmen, and officials are invited to talk to the
students about their respective fields and professional experiences.
