Outstanding Results in 2019 PanHellenic Exams

The 2019 success rate of admission to Greek universities was once again exceptional for our recent graduates.  Following their high achievements on the PanHellenic Exams, 97.1% of Athens College and Psychico College graduates were offered places in our nation’s institutions of higher knowledge.

 

Of the 260 students who graduated in 2019 from the College’s General High Schools, 211 (81.2%) sat the PanHellenic Exams, whilst 49 (18.8%) sat in-house exams.

 

During academic year 2018-2019, General High School seniors opted for the following areas of specialization:  73 (28%) pursued the Humanities, 125 (48%) Maths and Sciences and 62 (24%) Economics and Computer Science. 

 

Of the 207 who sought admission to Greek public institutions of tertiary education by submitting the computerized university preference form, 201 graduates (97.1%) were offered places, of which 129 (64%) were admitted to schools in high demand.  .

Sixty four point 5 percent (64.5%) of the students were admitted to schools in Athens and Piraeus, 11.5% in Patras and other schools in the Peloponnese, 6% in Thessaloniki and Crete, and 12% in other cities/areas.

 

Candidates can see the results on the Ministry of Education website https://results.it.minedu.gov.gr/  by entering their 8 digit exam identification number and the first four letters of their surname.
