Impressive Results from this year’s Christmas Bazaar

This year’s particularly successful Christmas Bazaar is over, yielding significant revenues for the Scholarship Program.  After two months of intensive preparations, parents and alumni who worked unceasingly in our six workshops created hundreds of original, handmade items for sale. The Christmas Bazaar is the largest and most time-honored event that is organized by the Parents and Past Parents Committees for the Scholarship Program and the only one in which all of the seven school units participate.

Over 250 volunteers contribute their valuable time, 600 supporters assist in its organization, and the entire College family promotes volunteerism in a festive atmosphere that honors and enhances the vision of the College’s founders, benefactors and major donors. The more than 4,000 visitors, together with the significant in-kind support from businesses and members of the College family, generate revenues that exceed €150,000, earmarked for the Scholarship Program that ensures aid to families facing financial difficulties.

Through this effort that supports students and their families, we are creating a modern, open and diverse student community.  By setting the example, we prompt our children, alumni and the broader College family to continue giving to society and the greater whole.
