Businessman Al. Poulias ‘91Talks to Young Entrepreneurs Club Student Members

On Monday, January 13th, alumnus Alexandros Poulias ’91 spoke to student members of the High Schools’ Young Entrepreneurs Club about his successful career in the field of business.  The talk was held in Choremi Auditorium.

Mr. Poulias, who works in Guatemala and whose business career centers on the field of technology, gave advice to students and shared with them his professional experiences: both the success and failures that have shaped his professional identity.

He also spoke to them about how he launched the Poulias Foundation, a pioneering institution that operates both in Guatemala and in Greece, whose aim is to help young people living in adverse conditions discover and exploit their potential.

Through the Foundation, Alexandros Poulias, together with his  brother Elias '90 (pictured on the right), have actively helped more than 55 children aged 4 to 18 by providing them with shelter and care, as well as covering their educational costs.
