Second Concert Dedicated to Beethoven

Our School’s second concert dedicated to the 250th anniversary since the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven was held on Saturday, November 23rd in Choremi Auditorium.

 

Distinguished violinist Dimitris Semsis ’78 who appeared as a soloist, accompanied Dimitra Mantzouratou on piano and our School’s Music teacher Eleftheria Vorria, interpreted two of the most important chamber music works of the great German composer during what was yet another special musical evening.

Music teacher Michalis Empeoglou ’83 gave the presentation – musicological analysis of the works.

 

There will be two more concerts in Choremi Auditorium to complete the tribute: on Saturday, February 1 and on Saturday, March 21, 2020 during which time other distinguished Greek soloists, teachers from our School’s Music Department and Conservatory, as well as students and alumni will perform.
