Athens College (Hellenic American Educational Foundation) has established a Merit Scholarship Program for students who successfully gain admission by examination into the College’s first year of Junior High School (grade 7), the first year of High School (grade 10), and the first year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

 Merit Scholarships candidates must excel in their entrance exams, must have exhibited desirable traits which ensure their special contribution to school life and their families must have a demonstrated financial need.

Within the framework of the School's Financial Aid Program, the College considers requests for tuition financial assistance when eligibility for demonstrated financial need is met and funds are available for this purpose. Students who pass the admissions exams, but who do not receive a “Merit-Need Scholarship” may, if they so wish, apply for financial aid under this program.
