Athens College (Hellenic American Educational Foundation) has established a Merit Scholarship Program for students who successfully gain admission by examination into the College’s first year of Junior High School (grade 7), the first year of High School (grade 10), and the first year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Merit Scholarships candidates must excel in their entrance exams, must demonstrate desirable traits which ensure their special contribution to school life and must have proven financial need.

Within the framework of its Financial Aid Program, it is College policy to consider requests for financial assistance from families facing serious financial hardships in order that they may receive – wherever possible – a tuition discount. Students who pass the admissions exams but who are not granted a “Merit-Need Scholarship” may, if they so wish, apply for financial aid under this program.

For information about the Scholarships Program, interested parents may contact Ms..Vicky Loukeri or Mr. V. Plakoutsis
