Methodology

At the bilingual “”John M. Carras” Kindergarten, students are at the core of the educational process. Through research and activity, they provide answers to their concerns and questions, thus shaping the profile of a student who respects and loves himself, as well as his fellow human beings and the environment.

Our Kindergarten students, guided by their pre-existing knowledge, research six different cross-curricular modules of global interest, plan the steps they will take to acquire the necessary knowledge, implement their plan, and ultimately assess everything they have designed and implemented.  By means of these thematic modules, they achieve educational goals while developing research, communication, thinking, self-management and social skills. Through open-ended questions, students also master key concepts that will help them to gradually build on the acquired knowledge and to link in-school experiences with those of real life.
