Students Awarded by Hellenic Mathematical Society for Achievements in “Games & Mathematics” Competition

The Award Ceremony honoring 5th and 6th grade students who distinguished themselves in the 13th Annual “Games & Mathematics” Competition, organized by the Hellenic Mathematical Society, took place on Sunday, May 12, 2019.  The ceremony was held in the Ceremonial Hall of the National Technical University of Athens, on the Zografou campus.

 

The competition, which this year took place on Friday, March 1, 2019, is held within the framework of the “Junior Euclides” magazine, issued by the Hellenic Mathematical Society for students in Elementary grades 5 and 6 around all of Greece.  Its objective is to bring students into contact with Mathematics and its applications from an early age.
